CREATING AN INSPIRING VISION
FOR YOUR FUTURE
Setting a vision for life is a powerful practice for imagining and visualizing possibilities. In creating a vision — both in your mind and on paper — you're able to visually and creatively lay out your priorities, hopes, goals, and dreams, so that they become tangible, clear, and more doable. By thoughtfully unraveling your vision, goals appear and clarity emerges. Let's dig in to your vision.

MAIN CHARACTER ENERGY
The concept of main character energy is truly about balance, and ensuring that we don't continuously or constantly sacrifice our own needs to put others ahead. It's about self-advocacy (speaking up for yourself) and ensuring that your personal needs and goals are met. It's about being the main character in your own life story.
DEFINING MOMENTS
Defining moments are big moments that contribute to who you are, that lead to a big change, or teach a life lesson. Defining moments can be positive or negative — and they have a lasting impact. They often change the course of one's life or contribute to who you are.
SHIFTS YOU SHOULD SEE AS YOU GROW
INTO YOUR NEXT GEN SKILL CAPABILITY

You will feel more confident in your sense of self. You may participate more in class or have more direction because you know what you stand for, what you believe in, and who you are.
You may be surprised by what you learn about yourself. You may notice that you embrace a new sense of self and take on a whole new identity. You may be excited about opportunities ahead.

VISION BOARD
Write, draw, and/or paste in images and words that fit the vision you have for your life. Use a poster board if you want to go bigger!
-
Your vision board can look like anything.
-
For some people, that's a big image-filled visual collage.
-
For other people, it's a bunch of lists or words.
-
The point is to get your visions, ideas, and goals down onto paper.
